Rossi - A Brief Biography

Rossi -- yes, she only has one name -- has been a humor and food writer for several major newspapers and publications, such as The New York Daily News, Time Out New York and The New York Post.

Her literary works have been performed on WNYE FM in New York and published at McSweeney's, Starry Night Review and The Rose and Thorn literary web sites.

She is presently a columnist for Bust magazine. As a painter, Rossi's works have been exhibited at Studio 429 in Soho, Cave Canem (1st Ave. Manhattan), Bob (Eldridge Street, Manhattan), The Cork Gallery in Avery Fisher Hall, the Lawrence Gallery and the Long Island City Art Frenzy. Her most recent exhibition, Reaction, which showcased the changes in the work of NYC artists as a result of September 11th, was shown at The DNA Studio Gallery.

Rossi is currently hard at work trying to cram her truly bizarre childhood as a Jewish-white-trash-deviant, her many years as one of Manhattan's more eccentric caterers and her days as a renegade painter into a book of edible memoirs.

Wish her luck.
