i just want this whole shebang over with

or any stupid ass nonsense
last night a homeless man in front of my building
starting yelling at me
that if i vote for obama
im anti american
because obama is a marxist
a non american
and of course
an arab
holy friggen crap
this shit is just getting stupid
when even the homeless are spouting out this hogwash
anyway
im going into denial
for the rest of the week
and avoiding talking about or writing about the election
i shall post again on this subject just before election day
but thats it

like most of you
i watched the debate last night
this was the most enjoyable one in terms of not being boring
but man
is it me or does mccain seem flustered, angry, totally off
while obama seemed calm, in control, cool, smart
this definately can not help the mccain camp
but then its always been known mccain is not great in a debate
while all the polls show obama ahead
im afraid to celebrate too early
its hard to imagine this country would want to elect mccain
but it was hard to believe this country voted in bush
twice
so ill believe anything after that
i have to hope bringing obama into the white house
will help change the tide or our economy
we certainly need some really new blood
seems like you don't hear nearly as much about bush
cheney and rice
maybe they're yesterdays news
maybe the republicans want to keep the focus off
the lousiest president in history
all i know is

bring on the change
fear is like an avalanche
starts as a little ball then rolls into a small planet
that's what's going on now
everyone is in full-scale panic mode about the economy
and that panic is making our worst fears come true
what i think is that in the way that 911 took away our innocence when it comes to
terror on our soil
what's happening now is taking away our innocence when it comes to
economic meltdown
unless of course you're old enough to recall the depression
i don’t of course
but certainly do recall the recession
which they say is not as bad as this
its scary
no doubt about it
but what's scarier is the fear factor
we watched bush lasso our fear and use it to drag us into iraq
now our fear is making a really bad thing much worse
what's the answer
deep breaths
calm
this too shall pass

meanwhile
lets all pray for some better leadership in this country

BORING
i actually started snoring in the mccain/obama debate
and almost fell out too in the biden, palin one
i must say i did laugh at palins way of getting so excited when she knew the answer like a kid in an oral exam
it was clear after some of her truly sad and hilarious interviews
she was far better coached
but all in all BORING
id like to see these folks really go at it
but then who doesn't like a good show

well i don't know

then again i surely know NADA on the subject
im already seeing signs of the economic funk down
all round me

that obama wins the election
cause i dont want more of the same
but i must admit i feel better with Biden as part of the ticket
die hard democrat that i am
obama's lack of experience does make me feel glad that biden
one of the smartest most seasoned members of the senate is by his side
i think with obamas desire to make change
and biden's know how
we'll be ok
or well at least a little bit better
my heart still knows that its hillary who should be in the oval office

and anything that even smells of more of bush
is just too horrible to fathom

i just hope they have the sense
to clean up this mess
