this has been a wild weekend for this here
not as young as she used to be cowgal
i high tailed it out to jersey for a whole weekend of reunion
glory
first it was the Barn theatre from Rumson reunion
in which all the great folks that i had adored and partied hardy with in my teens united
the divine annie t- who i had not seen in 25 years picked me up
alas no more 70's nova but a swank ride
and annie it should be noted looks like she aged
oh about 10 years

anyway she looked fab

jenny z- the glue to our many slices of brightly colored paper
joined the party
and magdalena the 2 am queen of dennys
lauren who still goes to oz fest
and has a daughter 6 years older then i was
when we all hung out
connels was there
and her two girls too
who were both yes
you guessed it
about the age we were respectively the last time we
drank together

in such a little post
but it was just grand
then i went back to my hotel
crashed
next day

our 25 year high school reunion

it was a gas
at the navesink country club
snobby place
had been a snobby high school too if you want to know
but fuck the snobs!
cause the cool kids were in the house
and they were all on the dance floor with us

then it was a 330 am pig out
at a 24 hour diner in red bank

it sounds a bit like the crashing of the

well La C- yes La C of NYC and my great pal mel from san fran blew into town
for my swanking birthday

rented out the club room in a fancy shmancy joint
and had tons of great food, wine and champ
for mel moi
and my fab friends in town

it was a lovely lovely night
and mel, la c and i ended it by dancing the night away
at a club in town called vixen
which i find totallly appropriate
since there are vixens in the joint
it was a great few cocktail and beach days
and was capped off with mel having her head shaved
for real
looked hot actually
La C left on the ferry to boston
i just put mel on the plane
and now
all is quiet
la c and mel are gone
and im back to being the painter write solo chick
alone in the sand
finding my inner la la
and all that
truthfully
i dont seem to stay alone for long here
friends and aquaintances
galore and all that
folks are damn friendly
well to blondes with cow boy hats anyway
but i think i need to spend a few days married to my paint brush and lap top
as for the town
ive seen jeff stryker a few more times
no 13 inch siting
or 11 inch as most say

its been family week
