went out to the robert miller gallery last night
to see the wondrous patti smith
who was displaying her art, not music
oh it was a grand evening my dears
full of older hipsters
like 80's hipsters
folks who remember CBGB's when it was rough
all dressed in black
and yes
while 20-something hipsters
might say
not so cool
i say way cooler!
hey even jessica lange was there
i admit the chelsea art scene has become a bit too
GROSS for my nerves
but once in awhile
it all feels rather groovy
