Here’s hoping that after a year of haggling
Compromising,
Giving in
Settling and hoping enough was left to matter
That the health care reform legislation that just passed in the senate really and truly does change American lives for the better
And if it really does…
Here’s hoping the house and the senate will be able to agree on it.

I’m just going to celebrate that it’s all the table at least. Heath care in this country is an abomination. It would be nice if democrats and republicans could just agree on something once in a while. It makes me sad that trying to reform healthcare has become so completely bi-partisan.

But alas for the holidays I choose to think that somehow this will all work out for the better.
