well for new year's tonight
i was going to wish for joy, health and happiness for all my loved ones
but i'd like to expand on this
and send a special new year's wish for israel
the land of the bible
the land of milk and honey
the only place jews can call a home-land
a holy place for jews
christians
and moslems
please
dear lord
i beg of you
bring peace and serenity
to this land
there has been too much blood
shine love
and goodness over this special place
don't let it wash over in red
this i wish for the new year
next year in Ya-ru-sha-layim
