went to see gran torino
with clint eastwood
it's been awhile since i saw clint as a star in one his films
just saw the changeling with angelina jolie
and i gotta say damn that clint can direct!
but honey there's nothing like seeing him on the screen
how old is he now 80?

i thought the character her portrayed
in gran torino
as an aging, but still tough
protected but still caring
bitter but reluctantly open
might just be a lot of who clint really is
or well he's a great actor so who knows
i met the man once
i was staying at his b&B in carmel
and this being the days before cell phones
i was waiting for a gray haired man in a tennis shirt
with muscular arms to get the hell of the pay phone
then i heard that voice
it was clint
he apologized for the wait
i heartily told him
it was totally allright
and that was the end of that
i don't get star struck
im a caterer in nyc
ive fed my fair share of celebs
but clint
no he's in a class few others penetrate
paul newman
robert redford
i think maybe that's about it
the movie by the way
was outstanding
go see it
now
i mean who knows how many more flicks this guy is gonna act in
