i watched the charles gibson interview with sarah palin last night
and here's what i thought
he had to ask her and then keep asking her for a clear cut answer
as to how she and mccain would actually boost the economy
and ultimately she only gave vague answers
she had no great response to her support of the bridge to no where
a waste of mega millions
she was clearly pro-choice, anti-abortion even when the pregancy resulted from incest or rape, something i had heard but never heard from her own lips before
I felt horrified that a woman might finally take office
and then promptly attempt to repel women's rights back several decades
what irony
after bragging about stopping ear mark spending
she had no proper response for her own ear mark spending in alaska
yes
she never lost her cool
she did not flip flop
never made any real blunders
in this way
the republican camp probably felt this was a victory
she did say what ive been saying and thinking all along
that it was a huge mistake for obama not to pick hillary as his running mate
something mccain has clearly benefitted from
as you know i am a huge hillary supporter and still feel the burn of her loss to obama and still feel she would make a better president
but this would not alter my liberal views
it's hard to imagine that hillary supporters would be so upset
they would vote for a hard core pro-life conservative like palin
just because she is female
then again
hell hath no fury....
here's hoping
pro-choice
equal rights
wins over against
hurt egos
