just back from san diego
which was not warm
but quite a bit warmer then nyc
right now
wooo cold honey
i have so many layers on i feel like an onion
but listen kids
this is holiday time
and while
holidays can be great
they can also be sad
and lonely
and dark for those who don't have families or who dont get along with theirs
if youre feeling that way this year
then i have this advice to you from someone who as surely been there
embrace love
yeah
it is all around you
just grab it
if you're all alone
go to a shelter and feed the homeless
that warm feeling will feel almost as good
and maybe even better then a hug
for me holidays are a mixed bag
of sadness and loss
and good feelings and hope
i try to stay in the latter as much as i can
you try too
