thanks to a break in israel
and a super warm early part of the winter
i somehow forgot just how friggen cold it can get here in nyc

when the wet stuff inside your nose starts to freeze
you know its cold
last night i had a 12 block walk from where i had dinner to my pad
and it felt like i was an explorer in alaska
but the time i got home
my eyes felt frozen

lemme tell ya honeys
its hard to
be a functional
well rounded
person who goes out and lives her life
when its this cold
