All one in the same I think…

At the moment, my brother, my sister-in-law, my young nieces and baby nephew
Are all in Israel and I find myself praying for their safety, hoping they return in one piece
Mind and body soon

I am thinking of my sister-in-law Dahlias brother who with tears in his eyes, walked away from the home he had built for himself and his family, from his life, from his livelihood
To start anew all in the name of peace
Now the Israeli exodus from the Gaza has not been rewarded with peace but merely like so many, many of Israel’s concessions with more blood

Hezbollah has a hold over Lebanon just as strongly and just bloodily as Saddam Hussein had over Iraq

Hamas has extended its bloody claws all over Palestine and the terrorist groups now hold hands across Iran, across Syria, across Lebanon, across Iraq..their common cause, their common bond…the extermination of the Jew

One of the people in this world closest to me recently underwent a journey into Judaism and after his 15th class in understanding this thing called being Jewish, he called me…

“Sweetie, “he said, they’ve been trying to kill your people since the early Romans and it just doesn’t stop. No wonder you’re paranoid!”

Why?

I don’t know, but what I do know is this, here today, in the year 2006 it’s still happening.

As I watch the Moslem fundamentalist terrorists, scapegoat the Jews and anoint America as their Jew loving enemy, I see again, a blind ignorant rage, that wants nothing but genocide…

And what would happen if god forbid that genocide would occur?

Then, then I can promise you, the murderers would turn on themselves, because with the scapegoat removed, there is no further veil over ones mirror…

I pray, I pray this day never comes
