a college professor or mine used to say this time of year
that she had the jan/feb blues
something about the sun saying bye bye
and the cold and grey saying hello
the anti-climax of the post holidays
all conspires to give us a major case of the blahs
ive tried to bust the jan/feb blues
by well having an art opening
and today having an day of art and wine called "art in the afternoon"
taking advantage of the catering season lull to celebrate the art side of my brain
but still
the jan/feb blues do creep in
have you got any advice for busting the jan/feb blues?
i mean other then over-eating which kinda makes you feel worse in the end
over drinking which definately makes you feel worse in the end
or reading dark and depressing novels which is like throwing oneself in the fire dontya think
so far all ive got is
sunday night THE L WORD
to bust my funk
and of course
bubble baths
CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!
