have you seen Brokeback Mountain yet?
honey thats the first movie in a long time
that this girl has watched
and then just thought about for days
weeks afterwards
it really truly just showed the impossibility
of forbidden love
of two cowboys...just normal working stiffs
falling in love in the 60's
and staying in love for the rest of their lives
but un-able to do much about it
except meet a few times a year
at their mountain oasis
it was sad
maddening
and so i suspect true to life that it cut to the core
and all this so close to the land the took matthew shepard
the acting was suberb
by two dudes that im not normally the fan of
i cant helping thinking that in a time
where homophobia feels like its at an all time high
brokeback mountain may do what
the parades
could not
create compassion in middle america
oh heres hoping anyway
we all deserve the chance to love
and be loved
dont we?
