this and that

Lordy things have been feeling heavy, heavy heavy of late..

And weird..

For me, it felt really and truly odd to see the body of the pope in full color being saluted by cell phones taking pictures of him…I don’t think I ever really got how far we’ve gone into the age of high tech and multi media until I saw the dead pope’s cell phone salute.

And speaking of funerals, Arianna (see linkie love list) brought up a rathing staggering point on the subject which was that our own dear and “folksy” president the baby bush has yet to go to a single funeral of any of the fallen soldiers killed in Iraq.

Honey…that’s just gross.

He can send them over there, but not stand at their coffins,. Not even a symbolic few…

Yech.

Arianna…thanks for that little tid bit…I shall now stop quoting and complimenting you lest anyone begin to think we are dating..

But oh, I am available on Saturday night…wink..

On other news..
I was impressed with the amazing array of comments on the preceding filibuster post..very exciting..over-all..

I invite you to do so again should you want to..but play nice..
Cause I just can’t stand anyone wasting my time and that of my readers
With insults and dis-respectful crap…

Does no one any good..
Just serves to make people want to do the opposite of whatever you are trying to talk them into..
