well dears gay pride came and went..
i saw the parade
cheered
queered and woo hoooed
and noted that this parade had a different feeling that they had in some years
it felt to me to be a tad more serious
more political
maybe because so many gay folks are feeling scared shitless that DUBYA will win again and throw away even more of our human rights, our gay rights
oh basically everything that we've been fighting for
and with gay marriage hanging close enough to sniff at
we feel like rabbits chasing after that big juicy carrot
so we write up our signs
