i have to say im feeling a bit surreal about the whole reagan funeral thing
looking at this media coverage of thousands of people crying about him
heard they want to put him on a ten dollar bill
its like the guy was Lincoln or something?
honey am I missing something
cause honestly i dont recall ever meeting a single person
the whole time he was president who was crazy about him
i met a few who thought he was okay
but really everyone i met
thought he was kinda dopey
a bit out of it
not good with the economy
too conservative
and mainly just lucked out that Russia fell while he was in office
so whats with all the out pouring of love now?
did i miss something?
please fill me in here cause im a bit confused
or is this just the way history re-paints a person
would i have said the same thing about a lot of our former presidents?
were they not so great while in office but decades later
remembered fondly?

so the former president passing away thing is new to me
i think Nixon was the only other president i experienced dieing
and he was far too controversial a figure to warrant anything like this
and far too private
is all this about the fact that a former president has died and it doesnt matter what anyone t hought of him?
if thats the case..okay i get it ..its a patriotic thing
but sheesh
this is weirding me out
